Citywide Town Hall Meeting


Join us at Lakewood Church on January 26, 2012 (Saturday) between 10:00am and 12:00 noon.

The Police and Clergy Alliance (PACA) invites the public to a special meeting with the Houston Police Department (HPD). Chief Charles A. McClelland, Jr. will introduce the Department’s goals and the major cultural improvements to be implemented within the department. In addition, you will be able to ask questions to HPD’s Command Staff, participate in Patrol break-out sessions, get valuable information on public safety, crime prevention, and volunteer opportunities.

Doors open at 9:00 a.m.

HPD Helicopter, SWAT Van and the HPD Show Car will be on display. Gifts and door prizes will be handed out.  

There is no cost for parking or the event.

Spanish interpretation devices will be handed out if needed.  

HPD Invites Area Ministers to Join Forces in P.A.C.A.

April 27 2012 - Houston Police Chief Charles A. McClelland, Jr. announced Thursday (April 26) a partnership between HPD and Houston area ministers in one large volunteer group known as Police and Clergy Alliance (PACA).

Flanked by numerous ministers from throughout the city, Chief McClelland thanked them for participating in a training program designed to help unite area clergy and lay persons with the HPD and serve as eyes, ears and strong voices in their respective communities.

Flanked by numerous ministers from throughout the city, Chief McClelland encouraged any clergy or lay persons interested in volunteering with HPD's PACA program to contact the Clergy Liaison Unit at 713-308-3200.
